The best way to experience the stunning beauty of the Borrowdale Valley is, of course, by being visiting But our gallery will help you give you a taste for the area, and you’ll soon discover why this is one of England’s most rugged, diverse and unspoilt areas.
We have consciously chosen not to have electric on site . Therefore there are no queues for noisy hairdryers . No washing machines or mod cons at all . We are basic, traditional camping in a site that best reflects the surroundings.
